Now let's talk about another depleted team
0:02
It's the Tigers who have a series against the AL Central leading White Sox
0:07
A series of four. Yesterday was the opener. Surprise, surprise, Tigers lose
0:12
They also lose Kyle Finnegan for the season. That is a story that we have posted
0:16
Make sure you're checking out that article. But guys, Tigers lose the series opener
0:21
What do you want me to say? We got swept by the White Sox a month ago. That was kind of the turning point for this season
0:26
That's where the Tigers had a series where they could overtake the Central. They got swept
0:31
Since then, it's just been an absolute cluster. Six-game winning streak is over
0:35
They've won three straight series, but they lose this series opener against the White Sox
0:39
What do you want me to sell you on? It's not a playoff team. This team is on life support for the very brief future of this season
0:47
This is just a matter of waiting for mathematics at this point
0:52
This team is going to probably be eliminated from postseason contention by the end of this
0:56
series with the White Sox, but it's all but official. It's going to come sooner rather than later
1:01
They just dropped the opener yesterday. We're not buying into playoffs anymore, so we'll just leave that be
