I want to talk about a man named Jared Goff, our quarterback for the Detroit Lions
0:05
It seems like every now and then, every few seasons, you'll hear Jared Goff's name have
0:10
a little pitter-patter, a little chitter-chatter going around around MVP candidacy. And this seems to be one of those years
0:18
You're hearing Jared Goff's name as a potential MVP for the season
0:22
And I don't mean to be pessimistic. I personally do not think he's MVP-level stuff
0:27
For me, an MVP is kind of your X factor, somebody that can steal your games, win your games when everything's stacked against you
0:34
I look at that game against Carolina. That's where the Lions needed Jared Goff to be that X factor
0:40
With that being said, though I don't think he's an MVP, Jared Goff is absolutely somebody you can win a Super Bowl with
0:47
Jared Goff is having a tremendous season. He's my quarterback. He's your quarterback
0:52
He's all of our quarterback. There is a reason why from games at Little Caesars Arena to weddings across the state
1:00
you will hear Jared Goff's name chanting. People chant his name out of respect because he's done a tremendous job as our quarterback
1:08
He is all reliable. He's an anchor. His numbers on the season are fantastic
1:14
The fact he hasn't turned the ball over this year, that's amazing. He's putting together an incredible season
1:20
I'm not going to deny it. I just am not hopping on the MVP bandwagon though
1:25
I think he's good. I think he can be very good. I can think he even has the potential to be great
1:31
But I'm not going to go as far as to say he is an MVP. With that being said, Jared Goff, we love what you're doing this year
1:38
We are certainly capable of winning a Super Bowl if you play like you've played all season long
