Let's start off talking about our Lions who will not be taking the field this weekend
0:05
That is A-OK with me. A good time for them to enter the bye
0:09
Yes, it may be early in the season, but a very opportune time for this football team
0:14
because following this bye, we get into the meat and potatoes of our schedule
0:18
We get into division matchups. We've got the Packers after the bye
0:22
We've got the Vikings right after that. Maybe the Lions can surprisingly hand the Vikings their first loss on the season
0:29
Still doesn't make sense how Minnesota has yet to take an L, but that's where we're at this point in the year
0:35
But the Lions enter the bye week. Hopefully they exit the bye week with more momentum, building off of that performance against Arizona
0:43
I get it. Cardinals are a bad team. I'm not going to sugarcoat it
0:48
They're bad. But the Cardinals actually had really good showings against teams like New York, teams like LA, teams like San Francisco

1:13
The offense for the first time this year looked elite. They've looked good all year
1:18
Last weekend, though, that was elite-level stuff. And the defense held their own and was capable
1:23
You put all that in the mix with the fact that Brian Branch could be back following the bye
1:29
I think the Lions enter the bye and exit the bye with a lot of momentum
1:34
Got to go into that matchup against Green Bay with that momentum. Come away with that win
1:39
Come away with the win against Minnesota. If you win your next two, I'm riding high with this Lions team
1:45
We wanted them to be in the bye week. Four and one. They're three and two. A couple of division wins, though
1:50
that changes my tune and I feel much more better, much more confident heading into the bulk of the
