Could you ask for a more exciting season opener from them at LCA
0:04
Pistons and Celtics, you saw that second quarter. It was neck and neck entering into quarter number two
0:10
And all of my fears with this Pistons offense not being good enough came to reality
0:16
Scratch that late in the third quarter. Boy, did they come alive. Kind of resembling to what we saw in that Orlando game in the playoffs
0:24
Third quarter and fourth quarter dominance out of the Pistons. coming back after trailing by 22 points to win it
0:33
And when I say come back, I'm talking about a 20 plus 0 run against a good Celtics team
0:39
Now, I'm not going to overreact after the win. It was their first game of the year
0:43
They started off with a win against a good team. I have to give credit where credit is due
0:48
I'm still strongly advising that this Pistons team should have gotten another scorer opposite
0:54
of Cade Cunningham, though he had a great game. Jalen Duren. Good game for Duren
0:59
I'm going to touch on him in two in a little bit, but he had a good game. I'm probably going to see a lot more good games out of him this year, but I can't buy
1:06
fully into him until he does it in the playoffs. That's where he needs to prove me wrong because I don't think he's capable of doing it when
1:13
it's crunch time. But how about performances out of Javante Green? How about performances out of Duncan Robinson
1:19
If we get that kind of three-point shooting all season long from them, this team's ceiling could be higher than I originally gave them credit for
1:28
It was a good win. Don't want to overreact, but I loved what I saw out of them
1:33
Do want to talk a little bit more about the Pistons on a separate note because following the postgame, we got an article on this
1:40
Jalen Durek commenting on he wasn't really too concerned about getting some negative fan backlash for this opener because the real Pistons fans know that JD loves this team and wants to be here and yippee
