Do want to talk about some NFL now, though. Let's go to the Lions. We've got another primetime game, this one against the Panthers, Sunday night football

In NFL, it's a little bit different than college. NFL, you don't need style points. College, you do
0:15
I mean, I'm no athlete, but if I'm playing a third grader in a game of pickup basketball, I better win convincingly
0:22
That's how college games are when Michigan's playing a team like UTEP. But in the NFL, you have high caliber players on all ends of the spectrum
0:30
Good teams, bad teams, doesn't matter. If you make it to that level of play, you got talent
0:35
So I don't need to see a stylish win out of the Lions. Would it be good to finally see them get another blowout win
0:41
Of course. Carolina, though, that's not the team you're probably going to do it at
0:46
You had a blowout, or not a blowout, a shootout rather against the Bills
0:50
Almost a blowout. You had a shootout against the Saints late in the second half
0:54
You had a shootout against the Jets, and the Carolina offense, guys, it's pretty good
1:00
They had a really good entertaining game against Cleveland, of all teams, on Sunday this past weekend
1:05
I'm not sure many of you watched it, but they had a really good surge in the second half to really come back and almost take that win
1:12
Meanwhile, they dominated and put up 30-plus against Atlanta. They put up 30-plus against the Bears, and I think the Bears actually might have a really good defense
1:21
So expect another shootout. Expect the Panthers to come out firing and put up a lot of points
1:27
It seems like anybody can put up points on our depleted secondary, but you've got to match them on your offense
1:33
Our offense is good enough to hang in there with them. I think the Lions get the win, but if you're looking for style points
1:39
if you're looking for a blowout win, Sunday night football, probably not the game we're going to see the Lions get it
1:44
For me, I just want to see Detroit win this football game and prove to 3-1 on the season
