One more thing I do want to talk about with that Pistons media day, J.B. Bickerstaff, we got the articles on this too
0:07
J.B. Bickerstaff saying that he wants to keep the defensive mindset for this Pistons team going into this next season
0:14
And I'm fine with being a defensive team, but at the end of the day too, you need a second scorer
0:21
You didn't go further in the playoffs because of two reasons. One is Jalen Duren. Two, you didn't have a second scorer. It wasn't Duren
0:30
It was not going to be a reliable Duncan Robinson or Tobias Harris that could consistently put you up 20 points every game in the playoffs
0:37
You had K that could do it and nobody else. What this team needs is a reliable scorer number two
0:45
I'm cool with being defensive mindset, but you need a second scorer
0:50
Getting a shooter from OKC, getting another name here and there, that's fine and dandy, but it's not what this team needs to make the next level
0:59
And right now this is a team that's probably going to get in as a lower card in the playoffs
1:04
Still probably a playoff team, not a play-in team. That would be a huge regression I don't want to see this team make
1:10
But the Pistons need help on offense. Lions need it on defense
1:15
Pistons need it on offense. Go figure. I'm hoping by the trade deadline the Pistons can beef up this offense because they need a second scorer
1:24
It's not going to be Durin. And we need somebody opposite of Kate Cunningham
