Oh man, it's been amazing
0:02
Ever since day one of the trade, I've been welcomed with open arms
0:06
getting acclimated with the system, with the city. Everybody that I've met is amazing
0:11
It's a sleeper spot out here is what I'll say. It's very nice, you know, you got a lot of spots out here that you can go eat
0:18
you know, chill with your family and all that. But yeah, I'm enjoying it, man. I'm excited
0:23
Does anyone know to see you that you share the names Isaiah Thomas, Joe Dumars
0:27
Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's like everywhere I go, I'm like, you know, you got a special name. I mean, it's my name, but, you know, like, yeah, you were meant to be here
0:36
So, you know, maybe it was meant to be. What excites you the most about playing here in Detroit
0:40
Just getting out there with the guys. Obviously, walking from afar, my years elsewhere at OKC
0:47
just seeing you guys grow and trying to, like, understand what makes the team good
0:53
And as soon as, like, I got here, I kind of figured that out, you know. The guys are grimy
0:57
They work hard. Guys in the gym every night, working on their craft
1:02
And we got a great system, great coaches. And it starts with time all the way down
1:08
So everybody's together. So I think I'm just ready to get out there and play with the guys
